Job Summary
The Medication Aide is responsible for the safe and accurate administration of medications to residents, monitoring their health status, and supporting the nursing team in maintaining residents' well-being. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, an active Medication Aide certification, and preferably one year of experience in a healthcare setting. Key duties include medication preparation, monitoring for adverse reactions, observing residents' health changes, and assisting with basic healthcare tasks. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and compassionate care are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Active Medication Aide certification in good standing with the state
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare, senior living, or long-term care setting
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program
- CPR and First Aid certification

- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
