Job Summary
Medication Technician/Aide at Keowee Square (Full-Time, 2nd Shift 2PM-10PM) administers medications per physician orders, maintains accurate resident records, monitors for changes in condition, assists residents with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming), supports mobility and transfers, and provides social/emotional support. The role emphasizes compassionate care for seniors, collaboration with nursing staff, and timely response to call lights. Training is provided for the state-approved Medication Technician program, with current certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification. Required Qualifications
- Completion of state-approved Medication Technician training program
- Current certification as a Medication Technician or willingness to take the course to learn
- Experience providing personal care in a senior living or healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Ability to accurately document resident care and medication administration
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
