Medication Aide (FT/PT)

Medication Aide administers medications under the direction of a licensed nurse and assists residents with daily living activities while maintaining confidentiality and documentation per policies. Responsibilities include dispensing medications under procedures, supervising resident medications via the service plan, completing timely care documentation, aiding residents with personal care, maintaining professional appearance, redirection and observation as part of a personal care plan, and assisting with incidental household tasks within the care plan. The role requires strong organization and problem-solving skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and reliable transportation for community-based work. Eligible candidates typically hold a CNA certification and RMA in the state, and meet high-school-equivalency education requirements. Must be able to perform tasks such as lifting up to 75 lbs, standing/walking for much of the day, and vision requirements.
