Job Summary
Administer medication as directed per Medication Administration policies and procedures, excluding injections, g-tube, j-tube, nasogastric tube, and IV medications. Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and the Director of Nursing in accordance with physician's orders, company standards, and federal/state regulations. Complete state-approved training program including competency evaluation and facility orientation, maintaining current Certified Nursing Assistant certification with no abuse allegations. This role is available on the 2nd shift (3p-11p) Monday through Friday at Piedmont Crossing, a licensed Continuing Care Retirement Community in Davidson County, North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or G.E.D.
- Minimum of three (3) months work experience in basic nursing procedures for nursing assistants preferred
- Successfully completed the state approved training program including competency evaluation and facility orientation program
- Successfully completed the Certified Nursing Assistant program and has current certification with no allegations of abuse or neglect and current in required in-services
- Minimum age of 18 years or older
