Job Summary
Deliver medication management services and ADL care to residents in accordance with their service plans and physician orders. Document daily task completion, observed condition changes, and communicate resident needs with other aides and medical professionals. Manage staff during working hours, participate in meal service, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including HIPAA and OSHA standards. Maintain required certifications through ongoing training and report quality improvement issues to supervisors. This per diem role supports the continuous quality improvement program at our Mira Vie at Brookfield community in Belvidere, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- one year of experience in a caregiving role or similar function
- State Required HHA Certification or CNA License
- Supervisory experience of six months or more in a health-related field
- ability to read physician orders and match to Medication Administration Records for residents
- understanding of medical terminology adequate to pass medications and communicate with medical professionals
