Job Summary
Medication Aide (MA40) provides assistance with activities of daily living and administers medications under RN supervision, in accordance with facility policies and the comprehensive care plan. Responsibilities include aiding with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring, and continence; assisting with admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new staff; documentation and HIPAA compliance; prioritizing and adapting to changing needs; and performing duties within the MA40 scope of practice. Requires active CNA license and MA40 license in NE; HS diploma or equivalent preferred; 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred. Schedule is Part-Time, days, 6a-2p, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $21.28 per hour, plus shift premiums and a benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Active CNA license in NE required
- Active MA40 license in NE required
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred
