Job Summary
Administer prescribed medications to residents under nursing supervision while verifying identities and monitoring for adverse reactions. Document dosage, time, and resident responses accurately; maintain logs and assist with inventory management. Provide compassionate engagement with residents and collaborate with the nursing team to support overall wellness. Adhere to state and federal regulations, maintain a safe environment, and participate in ongoing training. Flexible assignments available with no weekend or holiday requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Certification of Medication Aide program
- Meets applicable health requirements to provide patient care as appropriate
- Able to effectively communicate with clinical and non-clinical staff and individuals
- Able to provide proof of valid driver's license, if applicable
- Able to provide proof of valid auto liability insurance in assignment(s) include driving own vehicle
