Job Summary
Administer prescribed oral, topical, and non-injectable medications to residents/patients as directed by licensed nursing staff or physicians under direct supervision. Prepare medications while meticulously verifying the five rights, maintain accurate medication records, and ensure proper storage and security. Assist with activities of daily living as needed. Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, demonstrate initiative in assisting others within the department, and promote positive customer relations with internal and external customers. Requires a Medication Aide certification in NE upon hire and minimum three years' experience in a similar position or related field.
