Job Summary
As a Certified Med Tech/Med-Aide, provide direct resident care and supervision of residents needs per individualized service/care plan, monitor residents for change of condition and signs/symptoms of illness, assist with medications as ordered by physicians, review care plans daily, assist with admissions/transfers/discharges, maintain medication storage and records, monitor vital signs and weight, support daily living activities, ensure cleanliness and safety, and uphold Residents’ Rights while adhering to infection control and safety rules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- HCA or C.N.A. required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Completion of the Qualified Medication Aide program with a current license based on state requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English
