Job Summary
Distribute medications and treatments to residents while performing general household caregiver duties. Provide medical and physical care to meet daily needs, including grooming, hygiene, dining, mobility, and elimination support. Administer all medications safely, document procedures, and monitor residents for changes in condition or reaction to treatments. Plan and facilitate social activities, lead learning circles, and provide psychosocial support through meaningful relationship building. Maintain a clean, safe household environment, coordinate with the homemaker, and assist with residents' personal laundry. Respond to call bells, observe residents closely, and report immediate changes to nursing leadership. Work full-time night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older unless active on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide registry
- High school diploma/equivalent required unless active on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide registry
- Must be able to successfully complete required medication training
- Must possess the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Aide experience preferred
