Job Summary
Distribute medications and treatments to residents while performing general household caregiver duties. Provide medical and physical care to meet daily needs, promote psychosocial well-being through relationship building, and facilitate social activities for recreation and exercise. Support the homemaker in maintaining a clean, safe environment and manage personal laundry. Work as the resident's closest advocate to foster meaningful relationships and ensure a safe household. Part-time day PRN schedule with rotating weekends and holidays available.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older unless active on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide registry
- High school diploma/equivalent required unless active on the Nurse Aide registry
- Must be able to successfully complete required medication training
- Must possess the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with older adults preferred
