Job Summary
Coordinate prior authorization and patient assistance program processes to ensure timely medication access. Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to gather necessary documentation. Analyze and review requests to ensure compliance with insurance guidelines and hospital policies. Engage in continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction. Requires Maryland Board of Pharmacy registration, CPhT certification, and two years of pharmacy or insurance verification experience. Full-time days shift with remote work options.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy
- CPhT certification
- 2+ years of experience in pharmacy, medical billing, and/or insurance verification
