Job Summary
Explain CDPHP Medicare benefits and plans to prospective members while qualifying them for enrollment meetings with Authorized Sales Agents. Resolve eligibility and enrollment questions via phone and email, and conduct sales presentations for walk-in prospects. Assist agents with benefit inquiries and ensure accurate documentation in Macess, MARx, inContact, and CRM systems. Meet monthly sales coaching and production standards while adhering to Medicare regulations and company compliance policies. Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, with occasional remote work as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- NYS Life, Accident and Health Insurance License
- AHIP certification
- product exams
- Minimum two years direct selling or telemarketing experience
- one year experience in a health-related field
- Experience with Medicare
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Experience with a computer-based documentation system or customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Ability to apply problem solving and time management methodology to organization problems
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with external and internal contacts both verbally and in written correspondence
- Ability to interpret and make decisions based on prospective member needs, corporate underwriting guidelines, as well as federal regulations relating to Medicare Advantage
- Strong attention to detail and capability to meet established productivity and quality standards
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including but not limited to nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work from home when necessary and/or required by management
- Must be able to independently identify and solve problems by implementing appropriate solutions within the department and/or organization
- Have a thorough understanding of Macess, MARx, inContact and CRM system(s)
- Must have the ability to successfully work closely with other departments within the organization
- Reside within our service area in NYS (Inclusive of Albany, Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Utica & Binghamton regions)
