Job Summary
Medicare Biller and Analyst handles billing and analysis of Medicare claims within Patient Financial Services. Primary duties include processing Medicare claims, following payor regulations, reviewing Returned-To-Provider requests, analyzing denials and credits, and resolving aging accounts to expedite payments. The role supports process improvements, participates in department education on Medicare changes, and may work remotely after training with leadership approval. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in Medicare billing and related software (Meditech, DDE, Denials Manager). Strong accuracy, attention to regulatory guidelines, and basic Office software skills are valued.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in Medicare billing preferred
- Knowledge of CMS Medicare regulations and guidelines preferred
- Meditech experience helpful
- Direct Data Entry (DDE) processes preferred
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience preferred
