Job Summary
Set up and scale EMS operations for PCB assembly, box build, and testing while driving production planning, line balancing, and capacity utilization. Identify and onboard external clients from startups, OEMs, and hardware companies to generate RFQs, convert leads, and manage client communication. Manage PCB vendors, component suppliers, and contract manufacturers to drive cost optimization and resolve quality issues. Ensure incoming, in-process, and final QC systems meet ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 compliance standards. Build and lead the production team to drive accountability, output metrics, and shopfloor efficiency. Work with R&D for DFM and DFT, introduce fixtures and automation, and reduce assembly bottlenecks.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in PCB assembly (SMT + THT)
- Understanding of Gerber files, BOM, PCB fabrication, assembly processes
- Hands-on experience with debugging manufacturing defects
- Prior experience in EMS / contract manufacturing sales or partnerships
- Strong network in hardware startups / OEMs / electronics companies
- Ability to bring in paying EMS customers
- Experience in RFQs, costing, and quotations
- Strong negotiation and client management skills
- Strong ownership mindset
