Job Summary
Service assigned accounts by picking up and transporting waste safely according to federal, provincial, and local rules. Plan daily schedules by reviewing manifests and route sheets, then follow routing software while ensuring waste is packaged correctly before transport. Prepare and load trucks for select accounts, unload at WMHS and customer sites, and secure all waste and equipment prior to highway operation. Complete pre- and post-trip maintenance, log hours via ELD and Geotab, and submit accurate paperwork to the Transportation Supervisor. Communicate route changes or account issues to the Dispatcher and report problems before business closes.
Required Qualifications
- 0- 1 years of experience, preferably in driving Box Trucks and route management
- Valid Driver's License
- All CMV drivers must be able to obtain a medical card by a certified medical examiner
- May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements
- This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols
- As part of the ongoing employment requirements, the successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing—including pre‐employment screening, post‐incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing—in accordance with government regulations and company policies
