Job Summary
Medical Underwriter role with Royal London. Assess, analyse and make decisions on protection applications, applying sound judgement within established frameworks, and supporting continuous improvement of underwriting practices. Collaborate with Operations, Proposition, Distribution and Compliance to deliver strong customer outcomes, contribute to development of tools, processes and best practices, and pursue progression across specialist areas. Open to applicants at all levels with experience in protection underwriting (life, critical illness, income protection) and familiarity with underwriting manuals, systems and tools; operate in a customer-focused or compliance-led environment and be willing to grow within the team.
