Job Summary
Transcribe gross and microscopic descriptions of hematopathology and surgical pathology consultation reports from spoken dictation. Accurately and timely enter dictated and handwritten pathology cases into the laboratory information system, including CBCs and macroscopic data. Resolve user inquiries, troubleshoot reporting issues, and communicate dictation problems between pathologists and transcriptionists. File paperwork and slides while monitoring pending cases sent for referral lab testing. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm in Brentwood, TN.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent data entry and typing skills
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- High level of attention to details
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Brentwood, TN
- Onsite
