Job Summary
Medical/Telemetry RN role (PRN) providing direct patient care in an emergency care environment, implementing physician orders, assessing and reassessing patients, and communicating with physicians about status and diagnostics. Requires nursing knowledge aligned with standards, ability to perform head-to-toe assessments, manage pain, monitor hemodynamics and cardiac rhythm, and provide education to patients and families. Pharmacy/lab support and cross-training opportunities noted; BSN preferred with 12-hour shifts and hospital setting experience highlighted.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a hospital setting
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Current Arizona Nursing License
- Current CPR and ACLS required
- PALS preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- EHR Documentation via EPOWERdoc
