Job Summary
Provide efficient and accurate analysis of specimens processed in the clinical laboratory under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Director and Manager. Perform procedures in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology/Serology, Urinalysis, Limited Microbiology, point-of-care, and Phlebotomy to support quality patient care services. This PRN role at OakBend Medical Center, an independent hospital serving the community since 1950, supports our No Wait ER and advanced trauma center operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in medical technology or related science from an accredited college or university
- ASCP certification or equivalent
- Knowledge and skills to perform procedures in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology/Serology, Urinalysis, Limited Microbiology, point-of-care, and Phlebotomy skills
