Job Summary
Medical Technologist performs accurate and reproducible routine and complex manual and automated testing, maintains quality control programs, documents results and errors, conducts equipment maintenance, and ensures specimen integrity. Requires active Florida Medical Technologist licensure with specified specialties and a degree in Medical Technology or related science (Associate's or Bachelor's). Proficiency with LIS and participation in proficiency testing are included, along with flexible duties as needed regionally (PRN).
Required Qualifications
- Active State of Florida license as a Medical Technologist with licensure in Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, Microbiology, Molecular Pathology
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related Science degree and successful completion of an approved formal training program in Medical Technology
