Job Summary
The Medical Technologist / Medical Lab Scientist (MT/MLS) / Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) is responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Candidates must have a deep understanding of laboratory technology, adhere to quality control standards, and be able to troubleshoot complex instruments. Required qualifications include an Associate's or Baccalaureate degree in relevant fields and certification eligibility as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Scientist. Experience is preferred but new graduates are welcome. Competitive salary is offered, with a pay range of $20.41 - $38.56 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from a Medical Laboratory Technician program from an accredited institution
- Baccalaureate degree in chemical, physical, biological, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution
- Completed and approved ASCP (or equivalent) certification pathway
- One year in an accredited laboratory training program
