Medical Technologist/MLT/POC (PRN/Casual Night Shift)

Medical Technologist/MLT/POC (PRN/Casual Night Shift) Provides technical assistance and supportive patient care in the hospital laboratory. Collects and analyzes specimens and reports results according to protocols. Acts as general supervisor over assigned lab activities. Performs tasks and complex tests across laboratory areas, conducts quality control and preventive maintenance, ensures safety and regulatory compliance, and assists with proficiency testing. Collaborates with the Laboratory Director and Technical Consultant to coordinate pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic activities. May assist with patient care duties including phlebotomy, IV starts, initiating EKGs, vital signs, and wound care. Maintains patient privacy and a clean, safe environment. Travel to all facility locations as required. Travel and on-call night shifts with differential opportunities are included as part of the role.
