Job Summary
Accurately perform, evaluate, and submit results on specimens for laboratory analysis to aid physician diagnostic and therapeutic treatment. Conduct analysis involving variable fine-line discriminations, operate and maintain complicated instruments, and provide technical guidance to staff regarding lab tests and procedures. Perform control checks, proficiency testing, and periodic maintenance on equipment while supervising other technical personnel as needed. Adhere to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Requires Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Biological Science, MT/MLS certification, and 1 to 3 years of lab experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Medical Technology, Biological Science, or related field
- MT/MLS certification (ASCP, AMT or AAB)
- 1 to 3 years of lab experience
