Job Summary
Medical Technologist I needed for full-time night shifts at Germantown Hospital. Performs routine and specialized laboratory procedures, reviews and approves clinical test results per high-complexity CLIA standards, and supports mission of Holy Cross Health within Trinity Health. Requires BS in Clinical Laboratory Technology or equivalent with clinical rotations or approved laboratory experience; certification pathways described; strong teamwork and computer skills; eligible for applicable credentials. Includes a $10,000 retention bonus and comprehensive benefits; work-life balance and on-site parking provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology (Medical Technology) or related science; satisfactory completion of a clinical laboratory rotation; or a baccalaureate degree including courses in biological science, chemistry and mathematics with related clinical laboratory experience; or NAACLS accredited Medical Technologist program; or baccalaureate with specified biological/chemistry/mathematics coursework and one year of clinical laboratory experience within last ten years; clinical rotations or professional experience under supervision of a pathologist or board-certified medical scientist and certified medical technologist; new graduate to 5 years of experience in clinical laboratory setting; current or eligible ASCP, AMT, or NCA certification desirable but not necessary; general knowledge of laboratory methodologies, interpretation of results, and quality assurance; completed accredited internship in all laboratory areas of responsibility or documented on-the-job training; ability to work in harmony with personnel; basic computer literacy; English proficiency.
