Job Summary
Medical Technologist I in Flow Cytometry at Labcorp in Indianapolis. Responsibilities include flow cytometry setups, data acceptability checks after training, monitoring and troubleshooting instrumentation, preparing and evaluating reagents/controls, reporting test results, performing maintenance and quality control, and assisting with specimen processing. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science and at least 6 months of clinical lab experience (or MLS). ASCP or AMT certification and flow cytometry experience are preferred; candidate must be able to work overtime and pass a color vision screen. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or a non-traditional Bachelor’s degree that meets local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements
- Six months or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree
- Able to pass a standardized color vision screen
