Job Summary

Conduct clinical procedures and testing across chemistry, microbiology, hematology, immunology, serology, parasitology, blood banking, and urinalysis in accordance with approved policies and standards. Perform phlebotomy on pediatric and adult patients, maintain laboratory instrument calibration and preventative maintenance, and manage inventory control for reagents and quality controls. Develop and update procedure manuals, review quality control data, and participate in proficiency testing to support CAP and JCAHO accreditation. Provide technical expertise to the Supervisory Medical Technologist, teach students, and prepare workload and special reports as directed. Maintain confidentiality of patient results and adhere to strict safety protocols in a high-risk laboratory environment.
