The Medical Technologist handles qualitative and quantitative analysis of body fluids using manual and automated instrumentation, reports test results, troubleshoots equipment and procedures, performs quality control, maintains lab equipment, participates in education and training, interacts with physicians for result callbacks, and processes specimens in the NorthPointe Laboratory; requires a Bachelor's in Medical Laboratory Science and ASCP registration within a year, and is scheduled for 1st shift with 28 hours per week in Roscoe, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent combination of education and clinical experience making the employee eligible for taking the registry exam
- Registration by the American Society for Clinical Pathologists within one year of hire
