Job Summary
Performs and reports clearly defined laboratory procedures, handles and prioritizes specimens, conducts quality control and proficiency testing, performs routine instrument maintenance and manages inventory; ensures accurate patient identification to reduce errors, analyzes results, supports ongoing education for personnel and medical technology students, and completes assigned goals across assigned shifts with potential overtime and callbacks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) or Medical Technology (MT) from an accredited institution Program
- National certification in concordance with current Federal and/or State Regulations
- ASCP (preferred/required licensure)
