Job Summary
Conduct clinical testing procedures and maintain inventory of reagents while adhering to quality assurance guidelines and CAP/TJC regulatory requirements. Exercise clinical judgment to troubleshoot test systems and communicate shift-to-shift regarding issues affecting patient care. Participate in staff meetings, task forces, and competency assessments to support accreditation and operational improvements. Work rotating nights between Providence FSED and Ballantyne FSED locations, handling biohazardous and chemical materials in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- MT, MLS or equivalent registry eligible
- MT (ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) or equivalent required within one year of hire
