Job Summary
Medical Technologist position at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Full-time night shift (5x8 schedule from 2200 to 0630 with one assigned monthly weekend). Responsibilities include performing testing procedures and adhering to quality assurance guidelines, preparing reagents, maintaining inventory, troubleshooting test systems, and ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements (CAP, TJC, OSHA). Participates in competency assessments, documentation, and shift-to-shift communications; collaborates with leadership and staff to support patient care and department operations.
