Job Summary
Performs and reports a wide range of routine and highly complex analyses across multiple lab sections to drive patient diagnosis and treatment. Determines normal and abnormal components of body fluids by chemical analyses; analyzes blood cells by counting and microscopic identification; ensures operation of analyzers and laboratory equipment through calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs; maintains equipment inventories and evaluates new equipment/techniques. 40-hour evening shift with rotating weekends/holidays; includes opportunities for great benefits and professional development within a major hospital system.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Medical Technology or AS in Medical Lab Technology MT-ASCP or MLT-ASCP
- Eligible to take Certification exam and achieve certification within the first year
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
