Job Summary
Phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy on inpatients, outpatients, and ED patients with STAT/timed draws, conduct inpatient rounds, process specimens, ensure accurate patient/specimen identification, maintain confidentiality, troubleshoot collection or processing issues, and provide courteous, professional patient care at the VA White River Junction Medical Center. Day shifts (6:00-8:30+ hours, various start times) and on-site lab services. Two full-time openings; weekend/holiday/overtime may be required but no on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Phlebotomy Certification
- Current AHA BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 3 years of recent phlebotomy experience
- Resume showing relevant experience
