Job Summary
Conduct Medical Surgical unit care for 12-hour shifts, three nights per week, from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications while adhering to Maine licensure requirements and COVID vaccination protocols. Manage on-call rotations with no call requirements and every other weekend coverage, ensuring maximum 14 days time off. Submit required identification and manager references to expedite onboarding. This assignment spans 13 weeks starting July 2026 for a travel nurse seeking direct application placement.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 36 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- Maine license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- Must have previous Medical Surgical experience
- Every Other Weekend is required
- 1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- Basic Life Support
