Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Job Summary
Travel Medical-Surgical Unit RN needed for a 13-week assignment in Wausau, WI. Shift is nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Requires 12 months of Medical-Surgical Unit experience with 24 months in MSU and 1 month travel within the last 12 months; Epic experience required; ADN completion; Wisconsin license or compact license required after submission. Role includes floating to multiple units, travel-only assignment (local not allowed), and living >50 miles from the facility to be submitted. COVID vaccination and booster required after submission (declinations accepted). Pre-employment modules may be required. References and health certifications (BLS) requested. Preference for Trauma Level 2 experience and 3 years of overall experience. Unit details specify Medical and Pediatrics responsibilities with travelers not taking pediatric patients; interview with unit manager or third-party clinical nurse manager may occur. 9 days maximum time off; 12-hour shifts; 13 weeks expected length; 3 shifts per week.
Required Qualifications
- Wisconsin RN license or compact license (required after submission)

- Trauma Level 2 experience preferred
- 12 months MSU experience with 3 months in last 12 months
- 24 months Medical Surgical Unit experience with 1 month in last 12 months
- 3 months travel experience preferred
- COVID vaccination and booster (with declinations accepted)
- BLS certification
- Proof of identification required
- Associate’s Degree or Certificate
- Weekend/Holiday requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday
