Job Summary
Conduct Medical Surgical Unit care at OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center, Oklahoma's only Level I Trauma Center, with a focus on Trauma Level 1 cases. Provide 12-hour day shifts, four shifts weekly, with a maximum of 14 days off per contract. Float to additional units and locations as needed, maintaining a 12-month Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months total experience. Submit only if residing more than 50 miles from the facility and meeting all licensing and credential requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- 12 months of travel experience
- Oklahoma license or compact license
- ADN completion
- Med/Surg and Stepdown experience
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted
- 6 months gap required between for Travel at Program: RightSourcing Program - OU Health
- no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - OU Health
- Pre-employment modules may be required
- 4 Charge/Lead references required
- Proof of identification required
Desired Qualifications
- Trauma Level 1 experience
- Clinicians should have strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or be willing to work with difficult cases
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program
