Job Summary
Conduct 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on a four-shift schedule with every-other-weekend rotation and no call. Provide medical surgical care with telemetry experience, float to any Med-Surg unit, and manage patient monitoring requiring Basic Dysrhythmia course completion. Maintain Massachusetts licensure, hold BLS and ACLS certifications, and complete NIHSS training. Submit for expedited credentialing to start within three weeks, adhering to strict time-off limits of five days and mandatory holiday blocks for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- Massachusetts license
- COVID vaccination
- Telemetry experience
- Basic Dysrhythmia course completion
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
- Must be willing to float to any Med-Surg unit
- Must live >50 miles from facility
- Must be able to start ASAP
- Must be ready and willing to complete credentialing quickly
- Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled or needed: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after
- Must be willing to float to multiple units
Desired Qualifications
- 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred
