Job Summary
Conduct night shift coverage on a General Med Surg and post-CVA unit, adhering to a 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM schedule with four 12-hour shifts weekly. Maintain a 5-day maximum time off rotation while ensuring all required certifications, including BLS, NIHSS, and MAB, remain current. Submit to a Kansas or compact license requirement for this travel assignment.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- Kansas license or compact license
- Local & travel allowed

- 6 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main
- 6 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main
- No current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main
- Driver's license
- Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80% or national benchmark passing score, with 2 attempts allowed
- Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, with 2 attempts allowed
- Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles
- Candidates must have at least 6 months of employment separation to be considered for a travel position
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior)
