Job Summary
Provide 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) on Neuro/Ortho units for a 13-week travel assignment. Maintain NIH Stroke Scale and BLS certifications while managing patient care across four shifts weekly. Submit to the program with a Texas license, driver's license, and two charge/lead references. Complete required onboarding exams including Ascension Specialty and Core Competencies. Candidates must have 24 months of Medical Surgical experience with 12 months recent, including a 6-month separation from Ascension Health.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- Texas license or compact license
- Local & travel allowed
- 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main
- 6 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main
- 6 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main
- Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles
- employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position
- Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license
- Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding
- Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding
- Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Driver's license required for submission
- 2 Charge/Lead references required
