Job Summary
Conduct night shift coverage on a Medical Surgical Unit for an adult population, managing post-surgical patients including bariatrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, general surgery, OBGYN, ENT, urology, oncology, and medical overflow. Perform duties across varied surgical specialties such as carotids, AAA, and femoral-popliteal procedures. Maintain a 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM schedule with flexible contract hours of 36 or 48 per week, rotating weekends and holidays as needed. Complete required pre-employment modules and submit lab results within 48 hours of signing.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 3 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- Kansas license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- No current placement at Program: Aya Program - Ardent Health
- References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
- Must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing
- Proof of identification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
