Job Summary
Conduct night shift coverage on the Medical Surgical Unit, reading telemetry, managing cardiac drips, and identifying heart rhythms. Work the 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift three times weekly with every other weekend and holiday rotation, including no call. Maintain charge/lead responsibilities as required, with potential floating to Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Mukwonago, or other units based on census. Complete pre-employment modules and provide required references from a charge/lead within the last three years and a manager within the last twelve months. Submit proof of identification and maintain a Wisconsin or compact license.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- 3 months of Epic experience is required within the last 12 months
- ADN completion required
- Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license
- COVID vaccination required after submission
- Must be able to read telemetry
- Experience with cardiac drips and identifying heart rhythms
- Must be willing to work in the charge role
- At least one travel contract completed preferred
- Every other weekend
- Holiday rotation
- No call
- May float to Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Mukwonago, and other like units/facilities as needed based on census
- Will not be asked to work outside clinical skills unless approved by the employee, unit manager, shift advisor, and Staffency
- 9 days maximum time off
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
- 1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
