Job Summary
Conduct night shift coverage on the Medical Surgical Unit from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, managing patient care with experience in insulin drips, cardiac drips, and telemetry. Provide 12-hour shifts three times weekly with every-other-weekend and holiday rotations, while remaining available to float to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Mukwonago, and other units based on census. Maintain a 1/7-8 nurse-to-patient ratio during the 13-week contract starting September 2026, with no call requirements. Submit to the program with a Wisconsin or compact license, BLS certification, and proof of COVID vaccination, adhering to a 9-day maximum time-off limit.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 36 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- 3 months of Epic experience is required within the last 12 months
- ADN completion required
- Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license
- COVID vaccination required after submission
- 3-5 years MS experience required
- Experience with insulin and cardiac drips
- Must be able to read telemetry
- At least 1 traveler contract completed preferred
- 9 days maximum time off
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
- 1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
