Job Summary
Conduct medical surgical patient care on a day/night rotate with 5:1 day and 6:1 night patient ratios. Utilize AccuDose, bladder scanners, Philips monitors, and telemetry for general med/surg patients. Float to any med/surg unit on any Fargo campus as needed. Maintain a 12-hour shift schedule with every other weekend and holiday off, capped at 14 days time off. Ensure all certifications including BLS are current and submit a driver's license. Adhere to a 6-month gap requirement from Sanford Health, Good Samaritan Society, and Marshfield Clinic Health System locations.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months
- Travel experience
- Experience with Epic
- Trauma Level 2 experience
- North Dakota license or compact license
- Must be able to float to additional units and locations
- Live >60 miles from facility
- 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health
- No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health
- Must have recent travel experience showing a completed assignment and not be currently on a first travel assignment
- Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health, Good Samaritan Society, and Marshfield Clinic Health System location
- Must disclose previous employment with Sanford Health on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check
