Job Summary
Conduct medical-surgical unit care for patients with abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity/bariatric surgery. Manage IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes under a 12-hour night shift (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) with no call. Maintain a New York license and Epic proficiency while floating to multiple units. Requires 24 months of medical-surgical experience, 12 months total, and 3 months in the last 12 months, plus travel experience, BLS certification, and a driver's license. COVID and flu vaccinations are mandatory; no current placement at HWL Program - Iroquois Healthcare Association is permitted.
