Job Summary
Provide direct bedside care to pre- and post-surgery patients on a 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with no call and overtime requiring written manager approval. Float as needed to units of equal competency, including ED hold for stable admitted patients. Maintain a New York license, complete BLS certification, and submit proof of identification and individual professional liability coverage. Start assignments within 30 days of receiving an offer and complete pre-employment modules to expedite onboarding. This travel role offers $2250 per week for a 14-week contract starting September 2026.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months
- ADN completion
- New York license
- COVID vaccination
- 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - NYC Health & Hospital
- no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - NYC Health & Hospital
- NYS Nursing License Registration
- NYS copy of physical license/diploma
- Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institute
- Individual Professional Liability coverage
- Individual malpractice insurance
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification
