Job Summary
Conduct daily care for patients with heart failure and COPD on the South Med-Surg unit. Maintain 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience and hold an Illinois RN license. Provide BLS and ACLS certifications. Work 10-hour day shifts, four times weekly, with every other weekend rotation and no call. Live more than 50 miles from the facility. Submit two manager or supervisor references from the last two years. Hold a driver's license. Complete required pre-employment modules and upload certifications to expedite onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- Illinois license
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted
- No current placement allowed at Program: HWL Program - Sarah Bush Lincoln Health
- Every other weekend required
- Driver's license required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- 2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
