Job Summary
Conduct medical surgical unit care, including assisting with infusions in the infusion center and caring for rare pediatric patients such as those with croup or RSV. Float to multiple units as needed while maintaining 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. Hold a Kansas or compact license, obtain COVID vaccination, and complete required pre-employment modules. Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every other weekend, with rotating holidays and potential block scheduling. Ensure 2 charge/lead references from within the last 2 years and provide proof of identification.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months
- Kansas license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TRS Program - Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center
- no current placement allowed at Program: TRS Program - Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Charge/Lead references from within the last 2 years
- Proof of identification
