Job Summary
Conduct night shifts in a surgical unit with medical overlap, working 12-hour shifts three times weekly. Manage patient care under the supervision of a shift supervisor and patient care techs. Maintain a current Illinois registered nurse license, hold BLS certification, and provide a charge/lead reference from the last 12 months. Submit proof of identification and complete required pre-employment modules. This 13-week travel assignment includes up to 14 days off, with holiday requests open for discussion. Candidates must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and cannot be currently placed at Medefis Program - Southern Illinois Healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- Illinois license
- Local & travel allowed
- COVID vaccination
- No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Southern Illinois Healthcare
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
