Job Summary
Provide 12-hour day and night shifts caring for post-procedure cardiac and interventional patients on a Medical Surgical Unit. Manage Med/Tele status patients while adhering to a 14-day maximum time off policy with no call rotation. Maintain a valid Ohio or compact license, hold current BLS and ACLS certifications, and complete required pre-employment modules. Submit a Charge/Lead reference from the last 12 months and ensure COVID vaccination compliance. This assignment includes 13 weeks of travel nursing work at MetroHealth, requiring 12 months of MSU experience with recent critical care exposure.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience
- Ohio license or compact license
- COVID vaccination
- Minimum of 1 year critical care or cardiac experience
- 12-hour shifts - 7am-7pm
- 12-hour shifts - 7pm-7am
- Holiday and weekend rotation
- 14 days maximum time off
- Charge/Lead reference from within the last 12 months
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Registered license
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Epic
- BSN completion
- 1-2 years critical care or cardiac experience
- Other professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association
