Job Summary
Conduct night shifts on the Medical Surgical Unit, managing IV starts, NGT placement, wound care, and cardiac rhythms. Perform lab draws and operate telemetry equipment while interpreting cardiac rhythms. Float between two North and two West units as needed. This 13-week travel assignment includes every other weekend and holiday rotations with a 12-hour shift schedule. Requires a Tennessee license, BLS certification, and a driver's license. Auto-offer positions require a response within 24 hours; no interviews are scheduled prior to offer.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- Tennessee license or compact license
- IV starts
- NGT placement
- Wound care
- Cardiac rhythms
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Will float between 2 North and 2 West
- 10 days maximum time off
- Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
- Driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Registered license
